Çiğdem is one of the three founding partners of SSI with 15+ years of experience in practice. She leads the corporate and M&A, energy and construction departments at SSI.

She specializes in M&A and corporate law with a primary focus on energy, construction, infrastructure and petrochemicals sector. She has led many privatizations, acquisition procedures, asset transfers, complex corporate structuring and joint venture transactions representing national and foreign clients.

Her expetise also spans accross construction law and EPC contracts with project finance. She advised clients in several landmark projects in Türkiye for the construction of airports, power plants and petrochemical facilities.

Apart from her consultancy practice she also represented clients in major energy disputes before various arbitration institutions including SCC, ICC, ITOTAM and ad hoc arbitrations.
